Paris 2024: Swimming champions of the day

Five sets of medals were contested Monday in the swimming program of the Paris Olympic Games.

And the gold medals of the day went to the swimmers from Canada, Romania, Italy, South Africa, and Australia.

Women's 100m Breaststroke

1. Tatiana Smith (South Africa): 1:05.28
2. Tang Qianting (China): 1:05.54
3. Mona McSharry (Ireland): 1:05.59

Women's 200m Freestyle

1. Mollie O'Callaghan (Australia): 1:53.27 Olympic record
