Armenia's leading chess player, Haik M. Martirosyan, became a silver medalist at the 2024 Biel Chess Festival international tournament held in Switzerland.
The tournament took place from July 13 to 26 in Biel, Switzerland, with the participation of 6 grandmasters.
And the results were as follows:
1st place: Le Quang Liem (Vietnam) - 31 points
2nd place: Haik M. Martirosyan (Armenia) - 25.5 points
3rd place: Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa (India) - 24.5 points
4th place: Abhimanyu Mishra (USA) - 22 points
5th place: Vincent Keymer (Germany) - 15.5 points
6th place: Sam Shankland (USA) - 12.5 points
