Paris 2024: Armenia's Varazdat Lalayan, Andranik Karapetyan, Garik Karapetyan, Davit Chaloyan arrive at Olympic Village

Armenian weightlifters Varazdat Lalayan, Garik Karapetyan, Andranik Karapetyan, and boxer Davit Chaloyan are already in the Paris Olympic Village.

The weightlifters will start their campaign in Paris on August 9.

Andranik Karapetyan (89 kg) will be the first to compete—starting at 17:00 Armenia time.

Garik Karapetyan (102 kg) will “battle” in Paris on August 10—starting at 13:30 Armenia time.

Varazdat Lalayan also will compete on the same day—starting at 22:30 Armenia time.

Boxer Davit Chaloyan will begin his Olympic campaign on July 29—starting at 18:50 Armenia time, from the Round of 16.

Chaloyan is Armenia’s only representative in the boxing competition of Paris 2024.

To note, Davit Chaloyan will be the flag bearer of Armenia during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
