Fernando Torres, a former Spain national team player, has been named head coach of Atletico Madrid's second team, according to the club's website.
Last season Fernando Torres managed Atletico's under-19 youth team.
Fernando Torres is a pupil of Atletico. He also played in English "Liverpool" and "Chelsea", Italian "Milan" and Japanese "Sagan Tosu". He finished his football career in 2019.
Torres became a world champion (2010), two-time European champion (2008, 2012) with the Spanish national team. He won the 2012 Champions League with "Chelsea."
