Real Madrid's 20-year-old English midfielder Jude Bellingham has been named the best young player (under-23) of the completed Champions League season, the UEFA website reports. The decision was made by a group of UEFA technical observers.
In the Champions League season Jude Bellingham took part in 11 matches, scored 4 goals and made 5 assists.
In the final, held at London's Wembley Stadium, Real Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 thanks to goals from Spanish defender Daniel Carvajal and Brazilian forward Vinicius.
Last summer, Bellingham moved from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, who paid 103 million euros for his transfer.
