Man City plan to acquire Real striker

English Premier League champions Manchester City will try to acquire Spanish La Liga champions Real Madrid and Brazil national team striker Rodrygo in the summer, Cadena Ser reports.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola has positively assessed Rodrygo's playing style and approved his possible transfer.
Rodrygo is aware of Manchester City's interest and is ready to move to the Premier League, considering that he may not have a permanent place in Real's starting lineup after the transfer of French forward Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian forward Endrick in the summer.

Rodrygo has been playing at Real since 2019. In the season that just ended, he scored 17 goals and made 9 assists in 50 appearances for the club.

His current contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2028.

Transfermarkt estimates Rodrygo's transfer value at 100 million euros.
