Bayern Munich will end the current season without a title for the first time in 12 years following their transfer of England star striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
Bayern lost to Real Madrid in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Bayer Leverkusen won the German Bundesliga title for the first time.
Bayern had lost to third-tier team Saarbrucken in the second round of the DFB-Pokal (German Cup).
In the previous 12 years, however, Bayern had won 33 titles.
Harry Kane had played in the Tottenham main squad from 2011 to 2023, but did not win any titles.
Kane has scored 44 goals and made 12 assists in 45 appearances so far for Bayern Munich.
