The Bayern Munich management hopes to return the former head coach of the club, Pep Guardiola, who is currently at the helm of Manchester City, Kicker reports.
Guardiola coached Bayern between 2013 and 2016. After that, however, he didn't break his connection in Munich, where he has an apartment and often visits the city.
Bayern had won seven titles under Guardiola.
The current manager of Bayern, Thomas Tuchel, will part ways with the club at the end of this season.
