The father of Arthur Abraham (Avetik Abrahamyan), the former IBF middleweight and WBO super-middleweight boxing champion, has died in Berlin.
"It is with deep sadness that we inform that Grigor Abrahamyan, the father of boxer, multiple world champion Arthur Abraham, has died at the age of 68 in Berlin city of the Federal [Republic] of Germany. We will provide information about the memorial service and funeral to be held in [Armenia’s capital] Yerevan in the near future," Siran Grigoryan wrote on Facebook.
