Armenia’s representative Semyon Danilyants took 23rd place in the Men's short program and won the right to continue his campaign with the 24 best in the free program at the World Figure Skating Championships being held in Montreal, Canada.
Forty figure skaters competed in the short program.
Danilyants was the first among the Armenian figure skaters to perform a quadruple jump.
The free program competition will be held on Sunday.
Semyon Danilyants, 17, is from Moscow and has been representing Armenia since 2021.
