Daniil Medvedev, the fourth ranked player in the world, reached the quarter-finals of the Masters tournament held in Indian Wells, USA. The Russian tennis player defeated Grigor Dimitrov, ranked 13th in the world rankings, 6:4, 6:4. The match lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes.
Medvedev's next opponent will be the seventh-ranked Dane Holger Rune.
The prize fund of the tournament in Indian Wells is $8.9 million.
