In the second round of the WTA-1000 tennis tournament held in Dubai (UAE), world number two Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus competed with world number 31 Donna Vekic of Croatia and lost with the score 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 6:0. The fight lasted 2 hours and 23 minutes.
In the next round Donna Vekic will fight with world No. 22 Sorana Cirstea from Romania, who defeated world No. 19 Veronika Kudermetova from Russia in the second round with the score 6:1. 6:4.
The prize fund of the WTA-1000 tournament in Dubai is 3.2 million dollars.
