Inter Milan have won the Supercoppa Italiana (Italian Super Cup) for the third year in a row.
They beat reigning Italian Serie A champions Napoli 1-0 in the final of this football competition in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
The former captain of the Armenian national team, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among the Inter starters and played the entire match. He won his 23rd title in his professional career.
Inter won their fifth title under the leadership of their Italian manager Simone Inzaghi, who has been in charge of the team since 2021.
Inter have won the Supercoppa Italiana for the eighth time.
