DONETSK. – As a result of a voting conducted by the official website of Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Armenian national football team and Shakhtar midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was recognized as the Ukrainian club’s player of the month for October.
A total of 53.86 percent of the fans voted for 23-year-old Mkhitaryan.
The second was the Brazilian midfielder Alex Teixeira, with 19.34 percent, and Brazilian national team hopeful midfielder Fernandinho was voted as the club’s third best player for October, with 12.85 percent, Shakhtar’s official website informs.
