Norwegian star forward Erling Haaland, who is playing his first season at reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City, has broken a historical record.
The 22-year-old has scored the most number of goals in one Premier League season.
In the match of the 28th round of the Premier League, Man City are hosting West Ham United, are ahead 2-0, and Haaland has scored City's second goal (video); this is his 35th Premier League goal this season.
Haaland has surpassed the respective records of Alan Shearer (1994/95) and Andy Cole (1993/94). They had netted 34 goals each in the Premier League consisting of 42 rounds.
