Armenian national team and Russian Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan told how he met former Armenian national team captain, midfielder of Italian vice-champion Inter Milan Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
"I met Mkhitaryan in Macedonia, during the theoretical training of the national team. Joaquin Caparros was explaining in Spanish, translating into Armenian, and Roman Berezovsky was translating into Russian for us. Heinrich came and said to me "Hi, Ed jan."
Then we went to dinner and talked. I showed him a picture of how I took him out on the field during the national team match.
Henrikh is just an idol for us. He is modest, sociable, he will pour water for everyone. He is simple, I was shocked by it," Spertsyan told Comment.Show.
The 21-year-old was named Armenia's Best Footballer in 2022 and Krasnodar's best player of the first part of the season.
