Karen Khachanov։ I just wanted to show strength and support to my people

Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov, who reached the semifinals of the Australian Open, said that no one forbade him to write on camera about Artsakh.

Khachanov defeated Sebastian Korda of the United States 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, 3-0 in the Australian Open quarterfinals. In the semifinals, his opponent will be the winner of the Stefanos Tsitsipas - Jiri Lehecka clash.

"I have Armenian roots. From my father's side, from my grandfather's side, even from my mom's side. I'm half Armenian. To be honest, I don't want to go deeper than that, and I just wanted to show strength and support to my people. That's it," he said.
