Manchester City Norwegian forward Erling Haaland, 22, scored against Liverpool in the 3-2 English League Cup 1/8 finals to equal Neymar, the Brazilian forward for France's PSG and Robert Lewandowski, the Polish forward for Catalonia's Barcelona, during this year's match on a goal + assists system, Opta reported.
Haaland has scored 51 (43+8) points in 41 games played this year. Neymar and Lewandowski have the same number of points.
France and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, 24, has been the most prolific this year (72 points in 58 games). Argentina and PSG forward Lionel Messi, 35, is second with 65 points in 51 games.
