French champion PSG and Argentina striker Lionel Messi, 35, named the favorites for the World Cup in Qatar.
"If I have to put some above others I think Brazil, France and England are a little bit above the rest. But the World Cup is so difficult and so complicated that anything can happen," Messi was quoted as saying by the official CONMEBOL website.
Argentina will play Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland in the group stage.
