Joaquin Caparros, head coach of the Armenian national team, shared his opinion ahead of the penultimate round of the Nations League against Ukraine.
"We have a very high opinion of the Ukraine national team. We find ourselves in a difficult group.
In the upcoming two games, I felt it necessary to invite new players. We are keeping an eye on everyone who can be invited to the team.
We all love Sargis Adamyan, but he is currently absent. The reason for his absence is himself. Call him and ask about the reason.
We understood perfectly well that after a yellow card we cannot rely on Spertsyan in this game. I am sure that the player, who has replaced him, will show himself very well and will help the team to please the fans.
Spertsyan is psychologically a very strong player. Now he is fully prepared to play in Europe.
Considering the fact that Ukraine is a strong team, our team play must be at a very high level tomorrow if we want to get a good result," said Caparros.
Scotland (9 points) leads the group, with Ukraine (7 points) in second place. Ireland has 4 points and Armenia 3 points.
Armenia will face Ukraine on Saturday kick-off at 5:00 p.m.
