Armenia's Hrayr Alikhanyan (74 kg) has won the Greco-Roman wrestling World Championships in Belgrade.
The Armenian athlete defeated Maxim Vasilioglo of Romania 7:0 in 1/16 finals.
Earlier, Manvel Khndzrtsyan (57 kg), the bronze medalist of 2022 European Championship, met the reigning European champion Vladimir Egorov (North Macedonia) in 1/16 finals and lost by a score of 6:7.
