Gevorg Tadevosyan (87 kg category) scored the world champion title at the Greco-Roman army wrestlers championship in Tehran.
Davit Ovasapyan (130 kg category) won second place, while Samvel Aghajanyan (67 kg category) became a bronze medalist, the Armenian Wrestling Federation’s press service reports.
Armenia’s teams scored 13 medals.
Armenia’s freestyle wrestlers had left for the competition with 8 wrestlers and scored 8 medals, including 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze, and they won third place as a team.
The Greco-Roman wrestling team scored 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
