EFL Cup: Liverpool, Tottenham, Leicester City are in quarterfinals, Man City are eliminated (VIDEOS)

The matches of the Round of 16 in the EFL (English Football League) Cup continue.

Liverpool were hosted by Preston and won 2-0, reaching the quarterfinals.

Tottenham Hotspur, which beat Burnley 1-0, also continues their campaign in this football competition.

Leicester City finished the regular and extra time of their match against Brighton with a score of 2-2, but won 4-2 in the subsequent penalty shootout.

Manchester City, however, have been eliminated. They faced West Ham United, no goals were scored in the regular and extra time of this clash, but West Ham won 5-3 on penalties.
