Portugal captain and Manchester United star striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick against Luxembourg in the eighth round of the group stage in the European qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as Portugal won 5-0.
Thus, the 36-year-old footballer increased his goal tally for Portugal to 115, improving his own respective record.
Also, he netted his tenth hat-trick for the Portuguese national squad; this is also a record.
This year, Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in 11 appearances so far for Portugal.
