As a result of a survey conducted by Komanda newspaper, Armenian national football team and Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was recognized as the Ukrainian league’s player of the month for September, soccer.ru informs.
Twenty-three-year-old Mkhitaryan tallied 19 points and surpassed his closest contender by 12 points.
To note, this is the second consecutive month that Henrikh Mkhitaryan was recognized as the Ukrainian league’s footballer of the month and he retained his overall leading spot.
