The organizing committee of the Summer Olympics Committee in Tokyo will suffer $820,000,000 in losses as a result of the ban on ticket sales, Asahi reported.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans have been prohibited from attending the tournaments to be held in Tokyo.
The International Olympic Committee doesn’t bear responsibility for the damages caused as a result of no sale of tickets and won’t compensate the Japanese side.
Tokyo has declared a state of emergency, and the Olympic Games will be held without audiences for the first time in history.
