Chairman of La Liga’s Cadiz Manuel Viscaino says the football club has signed a contract with a center-back. Earlier, rumor had it that central defender for Kazakhstan’s FC Astana and the Armenia national team Varazdat Haroyan is close to moving to Cadiz.
Manuel Viscaino worked with manager of the Armenia national team Joaquin Caparros in the Spanish Sevilla.
This past winter, Haroyan left Russia’s FC Tambov, which have serious financial issues, and in February, he moved to FC Astana. Transfermarkt rates his transfer price at EUR 800,000.
During the current Kazakh football championship, the Armenian central defender played 8 matches and made a pass for a goal. He has also played for FC Pyunik (2009-19), Iran’s Padideh (2016-17) and FC Ural Yekaterinburg (2017-20).
