UEFA has presented the symbolic team formed after the return matches of the semi-final of the Europa League. Roma, which beat Manchester United 3-2, have five representatives.
Goalkeeper: David de Gea (Manchster United)
Center-backs: Rick Karsdorp (Roma), Pablo Mari (Arsenal), Raul Albiol (Villareal), Kieran Tierney (Arsenal)
Midfielders: Bryan Cristante (Roma), Lorenzo Pellegrini (Roma), Pedro (Roma), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
Forwards: Edin Dzeko (Roma), Edinson Cavani (Manchester United).
Midfielder for the Armenia national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan played against Roma without replacement and as part of his former team’s starting lineup. Mkhitaryan, 32, has played for Manchester United for 18 months (2016-18) and scored three titles, and he won the Europa League in 2017.
During the semi-final of the Europa League, Manchester United left Roma out of the competition after two games (6-2, 2-3), and Villareal beat London’s Arsenal (2-1, 0-0). Villareal will play in the final of the Eurocups for the first time in history.
