On the seventh day of the European Weightlifting Championships taking place in Moscow, the first of Armenia’s representatives to come out to the platform was Liana Gyurjyan (81 kg category), who won 2nd place after lifting 227 kg in the biathlon.
In the snatch, Gyurjyan won 6th place after lifting 98 kg. in the jerk, she won 3rd place after lifting 129 kg.
Gyurjyan, 19, is Armenia’s junior champion of 2013 and has scored many medals at various championships throughout the years.
