Chisora’s ban is not lifetime

LONDON. – Robert Smith, Secretary of the British Boxing Board, stated that British heavyweight boxer Dereck Chisora’s ban from the rings is not lifetime and he could earn his boxer’s license back through “evidence of change.”

After a Board hearing on Thursday, Chisora, 28, had his license removed indefinitely, and on three counts of misconduct: slapping opponent Vitali Klitschko; spitting water into the face of Klitschko’s brother Wladimir; and brawling with fellow British heavyweight David Haye.

And by “evidence of change,” the Board means training children, working in the community, and showing a willingness to materially show change, The Telegraph writes.
