Ibrahimovic's record after returning to Sweden national team

After returning to the Sweden national football team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic set a record during the first-round match of the World Cup qualifiers against Georgia (1-0), the press service of UEFA reports.

Milan’s striker has become the oldest footballer in the history of the Sweden national team, scoring his record at the age of 39 years old and 173 days and beating the previous record-setting footballer Thomas Ravelli (38 years and 59 days).

During the match against the Georgians, Ibrahimovic played for 84 minutes and made a pass for a goal.

In the past, Ibrahimovic had played in the Sweden national team between 2001 and 2016, scoring 62 goals in 116 games. He is the best bomber in the team’s history.
