Zidane’s head-butt to Materazzi immortalized in sculpture - PHOTO

The sculpture of French famous football player Zinedine Zidane, head-butting midfielder of the Italian national Marco Materazzi, has been erected in front of Paris' Centre Pompidou modern art museum. Zidane head-butted Materazzi during the final match of the World Cup 2006, SI reminds.

To note, after removing Zidane, Italy won France due to the penalty kicks and became the world champion in 2006. Zidane, who planned to retire after the World Cup, later apologized and said he was responding to repeated insults from Materazzi.
