Armenia on Thursday will start their campaign in the European zone competition of the group stage in the qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar.
In the first round, Armenia will play an away match against Liechtenstein.
Team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan, however, will not help Armenia. The Roma midfielder did not join the national squad due to injury.
Bookmakers consider Armenia to be the favorites, as they give a bet of 1.30 for their win, whereas the respective bet on Lichtenstein is 10, and that on a draw is 5.
