Manchester City intend to sign Atletico central defender Jose Gimenez.
The Manchester club have offered Atletico 89 million euros for the 25-year-old Uruguayan football player, plus 5 million euros bonuses in the future, Spanish AS reported.
The Spanish club demand the transfer price of 120 million euros set by footballer's deal.
Atletico's head coach Diego Simeone urged the footballer to stay at the team.
Gimenez has been playing for Atletico since 2013.
