Only 2 members of FC Barcelona ask Messi to stay

FC Barcelona’s footballers aren’t planning to boycott the football club’s training sessions with the demand that the administration reaches an agreement with the team’s leading player Lionel Messi at any price.

According to Sky Sports, out of the members, only Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal and Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez have asked the Argentine forward not to leave FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona’s senior players Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets have refused to interfere in the relations between Messi and the football club’s administration.

As reported earlier, the 33-year-old footballer has decided to leave FC Barcelona and has informed the administration about his decision. The Argentine footballer’s contract ends in the summer of 2021. During the previous season, Messi played 44 matches with the club, scoring 31 goals and making 26 passes for goals.
