In the last round of Mikhail Tal Memorial, Armenian GM Levon Aronian beat former champion Fabiano Caruana and thus helped Magnus Carlsen to win the tournament.
Carlsen defeated Luke McShane playing black and won the tournament having 5.5 points.
Aronian ended the tournament with 4.5 points.
