Igor Kolyvanov: I would call Denis Tumasyan to Russian national team

FC Ufa manager Igor Kolyvanov believes Denis Tumasyan is an invaluable player who can play even for the Russian national team.

“Denis Tumasyan is one of the leaders at Ufa. He is a wonderful person and a good football player. He is a defender who meets all necessary requirements. He shows a good game, and I am very proud that I have such a player,” he told NEWS.am Sport correspondent.

Speaking about his skills, Kolyvanov noted that Denis can easily switch from defense into attack.

“He has dropped 8 kilos and is in a good shape. I think he's an invaluable player. I would even call him to the Russian national team,” the coach said.

Earlier Championat.com portal named Denis Tumasyan among the best players of the ninth round of Russian Championship.

In May 2014, the chief coach of the Armenian national Bernard Challandes met with Denis Tumasyan, but the latter was not called to the national team. Many players of the Armenian squad will miss a key match against Serbia, but manager ignored the candidacy of Tumasyan.
