MOSCOW. – Georgia’s Sport and Youth Affairs Minister Lado Vardzelashvili on Tuesday stated that Georgia will continue by itself the battle to host the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship (Euro 2020), gazeta.ru informs.
To note, Georgia and Azerbaijan were preparing to introduce a joint bid to host Euro 2020, but official Baku decided to concentrate its efforts on receiving the right to host the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The deadline for submitting Euro 2020 bids is this Tuesday.
