Armenian GM Levon Aronian said Borussia newcomer Henrikh Mkhitrayan will prove that he is one of the best players in Europe.
In an interview with NEWS.am Sport, Levon Aronian commented on the recent transfer of Armenian national’s midfielder.
“I am happy to see that Henrikh Mkhitaryan came to Germany. He will be able to prove that he is one of the best players in Europe,” he said.
Aronian promised to do his best to help Mkhitaryan to adapt to a new country.
“My experience shows that Germany is a good country for a sportsman. The life here is calm and differs from that in Armenia. Thanks to his character and ambitions, Henrikh may get here the energy that he needs,” Aronian added.
The chess player said he always liked Borussia, but from now on he will be its fan.
