Armenia were hosted by FIFA 2022 World Cup bronze medalists Croatia in the last match in the group stage of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualification round, and lost 1-0.
As a result, Croatia finished second, with 16 points, in Group D, and qualified for the finals of Euro 2024. Armenia placed fourth, with 8 points.
In the other Group D game, Wales played a 1-1 draw at home with Turkey, who took first place, with 17 points, in this group.
Wales finished third, with 12 points, and will continue their campaign for a spot in the Euro 2024 finals in the transitional matches scheduled for next March. Three such spots are up for grabs.
