By beating Arsenal 5-1 and earning 54 points in Week 20, Liverpool have recorded the third best performance in terms of points in the history of the Premier League.
Solely Manchester City and Chelsea have achieved a better result after the first twenty games in one season of the top level of the English football league system.
In the 2017/18 season, Man City had garnered 58 points, while in the 2005/06 season, Chelsea had amassed 56 points, after Week 20. Both clubs had become the Premier League champions in those seasons, respectively.
