World Cup: Uruguay defeats Egypt

Uruguay’s squad defeated Egypt during the FIFA World Cup group stages.

Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimene scored the goal in the 90th minute and gave Uruguay a 1-0 win over Egypt. Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was on the bench during Egypt-Uruguay clash.

As reported earlier, Russia got off to the perfect start as they kicked off their home World Cup with a 5-0 annihilation of Saudi Arabia.
