Captain of the 2018 World Cup Icelandic national team Aron Gunnarsson shared his opinion about the upcoming World Cup match against Argentina on June 16.
"We are not the favorites [to win the World Cup], but we know that fans from other countries support us,” Fourty Four Two reported quoting the captain.
“We want to spring a surprise, but we realize that our rivals have already studied us well, so it won't be easy,” Gunnarsson told reporters.
Iceland will face Nigeria and Croatia during the FIFA World Cup group stages.
