YEREVAN. – Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Thursday received the award for Armenia’s 2017 Footballer of the Year.
The award ceremony was held at the capital city Yerevan football academy, where the national squad are holding a training camp these days, informed the NEWS.am Sport reporter.
In December 2017, national team captain Mkhitaryan was named Armenia’s footballer of the year for the eighth time and the seventh consecutive year.
He is in Yerevan for Armenia’s training for their friendlies against Estonia (Saturday) and Lithuania (March 27), in the capital city.
