National teams of Peru and Colombia agreed a draw 1-1 during the last round of the qualifying tournament of the World Cup.
The result meant Colombia finished in fourth place, automatically booking their place at next summer’s World Cup.
Peru, meanwhile, finished fifth. They now face a two-legged play-off against New Zealand in one final hurdle.
Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has come under scrutiny for appearing to tell opposition players to calm down and play for a draw during the final round of World Cup 2018 qualifying.
