Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian reached the second round of the 2017 World Chess Cup, taking place in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Levon Aronian won the round 1 game against Daniel Cawdery 2-0 at the World Chess Cup.
The winner and finalist of the tournament will be qualified to the 2018 candidates' tournament.
