Former footballer and manager of Argentine squad Diego Maradona will head for Russia to meet with country’s President Vladimir Putin.
“We will again communicate with Putin. He phoned me and asked me to do a thing or two for the World Cup, which will be held in Russia. I am Putin’s fan and responded to his request with pleasure. It is important to discuss this issue at the private meeting with the President,” he said, ole.com.ar reports.
