Argentine national football squad and FC Barcelona (Spain) forward Lionel Messi did not rule out the possibility of playing in the Chinese Super League, toward the end of his professional career.
“I can’t say my moving to China is impossible,” GOAL quoted Messi as saying. “No one can say there is anything impossible in modern football. But I’ve never thought about playing in the in the Chinese Super League. I’ve always wanted to finish my career at Barcelona. Now, I’m thinking only about winning all the possible titles next season.”
The five-time FIFA Ballon d’Or award winner is currently in his home country, Argentina, and is preparing for his wedding on June 30.
