The Wales national squad were welcomed home by around 200 thousand fans. After losing in the semifinals of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Euro 2016 which is wrapping up in France, the team returned to Cardiff.
They were honored by an open-top bus parade through the streets of the Welsh capital city, according to The Daily Mail newspaper of Great Britain.
Wales had reached the European Championship semifinal for the first time in nation’s history.
