France on Sunday crushed tournament surprise Iceland 5-2 in the last quarterfinal match in the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Euro 2016, which they are hosting.
French President François Hollande also was in the stands watching the game.
In the semifinals, the host nation will face reining world champions Germany, on Thursday.
In the other semifinal match, Portugal will kick off against Wales, on Wednesday.
